Asian Steamed Shumai Dumplings
We made some last night, and they were delicious
Trying our Shumai dumplings
In my house, I am the sous chef.
Gee is the resident top chef. The man loves to cook.
And he is an excellent one. I was a lot smaller when we met, so I blame him for time and good food that has impacted my waistline🤦♀️.
Like most people who share a love of cooking, he says he does it to see the joy on other people's faces as they enjoy his creations.
Me, I just love the food 😍.
The dumplings were ready to steam and since Gee wanted to try thicker dumpling wrappers, we placed tiny pieces of cabbage leaves so we can identify them later.
This was the ‘tester’ set of dumplings.
The steaming basket is closed and ready for action.
